E- Menu is a new form of ICT used in the restaurant business for order taking. However, only few countries have so far adapted this technology and thereby it is still in the earlier stage of its popularity. Likewise, some countries like Israel and Japan has already implemented the E-menu in some of the restaurants and concluded that it is quite popular among the customers.
The E- menu is a small LCD like screen attached to each table which enables restaurants to speed up its ordering service without any manpower usage. The E-menu are diffeniately needed in the hospitality and tourism products specially in the restuarants. It helpful because it can give order right away to the kitchen which reducing time of travel to the kitchen itself by the waitress causing more effective of work use by the staffs. Also if the owner have more than one restuarants for example in the hotel it may consist of many restuarants, so he/she can check the total among of revenue provided by each restuarants and how many items have been sells, what type of products that customers ordered the most day by day.

According to the post of E-Menu, i think it is the good idea for restaurant and spa management because it is a new way to experience and use information and digital content, engaging the senses, improving collaboration and empowering people to interact.

I saw some of this before, i can say that E- Menu is the one that we really need to put in our organization. This kind of tecnology will help us to avoid the mistake of the man power management which is the hardest to control the standard.
ReplyDeleteJust in my opinion, I think we could combine this one with Microsoft Surface that will become more effective for us. Moreover it might be very interrested that after the combination, we could this as a table of the restaurant as well.
E- menu is an innovative way of ordering, it allows the customer to choose multi orders, injoy the freedomn of choosing any item he would and at the same timne he wiill pre define the budget of the total amount on his order.
